Description
Designed to adsorb corrosive gasses within enclosed spaces such as conservation boxes, picture frames or showcases.
Anti-tarnish, air purification scavenger traps, which use a combination of activated carbon cloth technology and reactive copper particles. This combination protects against organic and inorganic pollutants which cause tarnishing or corrosion on sensitive surfaces.
Each 25 mm square Puritan Pad has an adsorptive surface area which is equivalent to 90 metres squared.
Puritan Pads™ have strong electrostatic charges within their pore structure, which attract gases and then entrap them permanently, preventing the release of gases, even in the unlikely event that the pad reaches its saturation point.
Puritan Pads™ can be placed individually or in multiples within boxes, drawers, cabinets and showcases to purify the atmosphere and protect: Photographs, CD’s, Documents, Silver, Lead, Jewellery, Coins, Medals, Trophy’s and Musical Instruments etc.
Puritan Pads™ are backed with a neutral pH adhesive on a release paper. This allows them to be stuck or placed loose within a container.
